Property Law Training for Local Authority Lawyers

iq legal training limited is delighted to be able to present a series of three one hour webinars designed for the busy local authority property lawyers.

This first series of webinars examines commonly encountered problems when dealing with commercial leases and is aimed at providing practical advice to busy local authority lawyers,

The webinars will be delivered by Ian Quayle who has over the last 17 years delivered over 1500 courses and webinars to the legal profession working for a number of the major training providers. Ian designed training courses particularly for local authority lawyers having identified particular problems that were being encountered in this area of practice.

The webinars delivered by Ian are engaging, informative and lively. Webinars are littered with real life examples and case studies and interaction is encouraged as time is set aside for questions from delegates. In addition extensive notes are provided for each webinar and delegates can watch recordings for twenty one days after each event.

The cost for two delegates from each local authority is  £100.00 plus VAT. Spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.

Using heads terms and precedents, using guarantees and rent deposits,  key clauses, and dealing with unrepresented tenants

The webinar will look at problem transactions commonly encountered in the context of local authority transactions. 

  • Management Issues – 15.10.20 at 2pm

Dealing with break clauses, rent reviews, surrender, regearing and surrender.

  • Lease Renewal  – 29.10.20  at 2pm  

Does the LTA 1954 Act Apply ?, negotiating new leases – things to look out for, interim rent , requests for information and an outline of the court process
