IQ Legal Training is proud to announce that its Newcastle conference for legal professionals will take place on the 26th March 2026 at Copthorne Hotel.

The conference will be split into two main sessions; the morning session will focus on residential transactions, and the afternoon session will be dedicated to commercial transactions.

The revised TA 6 is compulsory for CQS accreddited firms in March 2026. In this presentation Ian will explore the following:

  • Does the revised TA6 change the seller and conveyancer dynamic given the additional questions, the explanatory notes and the warnings to sellers in the new form.

  • Mortgages are a huge part of the conveyancing process, but advising on them, that is, knowing when to advise; who to advise, and what to advise, often turns out to be a tricky exercise. This is a practical run-through some of the issues following Waller-Edwards v One Savings Bank Plc [2025] UKSC 22. It is presented by one of the country’s leading mortgage law experts!
