Preparing for Commonhold – Webinar Series
Having spent nearly two years focusing on commonhold during its initial introduction by the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, I’m amazed to see that all the time and effort invested back then is now becoming relevant again.
In this series of three 60-minute webinars, I’ll introduce the concept of commonhold, guide practitioners through the documentation they’re likely to encounter and examine how the reintroduction of commonhold will impact the conveyancing process.
📅Webinar 1 – 19.01.26, 11.30 AM – An Introduction to Commonhold – the history of commonhold and the Commonhold and Leasehold (Reform) Act 2002, suggested reform, and an overview of the changes to procedure.
📅 Webinar 2 – 02.02.26, 2:00 PM – Getting to Grips with Commonhold Documentation – dealing with the Commonhold Community Statement and the constitution of the Commonhold Association.
📅 Webinar 3 – 05.02.26, 2:00 PM – The Conveyancing Process and Commonhold, acting on the sale and purchase of a commonhold property, differences in process and issues to look out for.
The goal is to ensure that busy practitioners are fully prepared when Commonhold is relaunched and equipped to navigate the changes confidently.
