Commonhold is coming

New for 2021, a three-hour webinar considering the proposed relaunch of Commonhold from the perspective of the transactional property lawyer.

This webinar explores all the key issues of commonhold conveyancing for busy transactional property lawyers. It will examine:

• The existing commonhold scheme

• The Law Commission recommendations for reform

• What relaunched commonhold will look like

• Creating new commonhold schemes

• Converting leasehold schemes into commonhold

• Problem issues and how to deal with them

The course will be delivered by Ian Quayle who had extensive experience of explaining the commonhold concept and the variation to the conveyancing process commonhold required after the introduction of Commonhold following the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

It will ensure that conveyancers are aware of the  law and procedure involved in this radical form of freehold ownership including familiarising practitioners with processes and documentation.
