IQ Legal Training is a conveyancing and property law training provider offering virtual and face-to-face training when permitted on a variety of conveyancing related topics, covering both commercial and residential conveyancing fields.
Our training specialists benefit from many years of practical legal experience and have vast experience delivering thousands of training courses nationwide. We offer a range of flexible training courses to anyone undertaking conveyancing work, or organisations working in ancillary services such as local authorities, search providers and estate agents.
IQ Legal Training provides numerous conveyancing training courses appropriate for newly qualified conveyancers and experienced practitioners. We also have a dedicated section of courses appropriate to law students.

Ian Quayle, CEO
Ian qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice for 12 years specialising in property law matters including residential development work, commercial acquisitions and disposals.
Ian has delivered over 1500 property related training courses for city and regional firms, local law societies and local authorities. His training style and delivery is relaxed, but he is able to explain the law and practical issues relating to the training topic in a way that ensures delegates learn, or reinforce learning, and derive meaningful benefit from the training provided.
Ian has provided training to businesses in-house, public courses, and spoken at conferences. He is prolific in his delivery of webinars on conveyancing related issues, and he has delivered live and pre-recorded webinars nationally and internationally for both of the leading legal training providers and continues to do so.
Unusually, Ian is able to deliver training in both commercial and residential property fields generating courses on a myriad of topics some of which are of general application and others more specialist and focused. Bespoke training courses are available depending on individual business requirements. In addition to training qualified legal staff, Ian has taught a number of training courses aimed at support staff.
Tom Graham, Senior Trainer
Tom Graham is a barrister with nearly 40 years of experience in town & country planning, highway law and public law. He was formerly a solicitor and has had considerable experience in local government and private practice. Tom was the Chief Solicitor to North Hertfordshire District Council and has held senior positions in local government.
Tom has acted for developers, house-builders and landowners as a partner in private practice. He has appeared at many local inquiries and in the civil and criminal courts, the Lands Tribunal and in the High Court. His books include “Contaminated Land” (Jordans 1995) and “A Practical Guide to Planning, Highways and Development” (Bath Publishing 2019).
Tom is currently writing “ A Practical Guide to Contaminated Land” and drafting a book on the forthcoming Environment Act – both for Bath Publishing. He has lectured at many seminars in both England and Wales.
Ann Page, Business Author, Trainer and Coach
Ann Page, a Top 100 lawyer of the year (2003) has had a successful in-house 28-year career, working mainly in the financial sector. She switched from being a business lawyer in industry to a non-practising solicitor who teaches and coaches on business subjects in 2003. Since then, Ann has trained nearly 7000 lawyers on business skills including leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
Ann has been active in various professional committees including the Association of Women Solicitors, Law Society Membership Committee and was Chair of the Law Society Commerce & Industry Group initiating six firsts for the Group, Head of Business Affairs Institute of Paralegals. Currently she is Treasurer of the Yorkshire Sole Practitioner’s Group, a member of the Professional Speaking Association, Professional Speaking Academy, Women in Law and Leeds Law Society.
Ann has written three books and her latest ‘Business skills? Don’t be daft I am a lawyer!' is endorsed by three Managing Partners. It contains practical advice and exercises to those setting up in business or running their own legal practice or department. 29 legal business owners share their stories of forging their own path including the highs and lows.
